Nope, I meant 68 vs 78 - they are both this years 1080p models. It turns out it's only a cosmetic difference, with a slightly different look to the speakers at the bottom. I'm looking at the 5668 right now.

I been basking in glorious HD television for three years now, all thanks to a simple antenna on the roof. I have comcast HD now, but without a HD tv hooked up yet I can't report on the quality.

On to sound - yep, get away from the Bose stuff. I love my Paradigm stuff, but Klipsh makes nice quality stuff as well. Avoid any HTIB type set ups you might find at a big box store, and put your own together. One to check out is Onix Rockets, and Infinity makes some decent stuff at a reasonable price...

weird... i couldn't find it on the site... but if the technology is the same, you're gonna love it. Watched Empire Strikes Back last night... i've never seen a movie look better. George did a pretty good job on the transfer but the TV make it look amazing. I'm watching Pirates of the Caribbean right now... fucking beautiful.

oh, and i hookup up my widescreen laptop to it and again, the picture was perfect. Played Myst 4 and McGee's Alice just to check out the graphics and now i'm pretty much in love [img]wink.gif[/img]
